Parts of the Western Cape and Northern Cape can expect to see Light snowfall from late on Sunday 4 September 2022 through the night into Monday morning 5 September 2022.
A maximum of around 10cm of snow is forecast in mountainous areas with surrounding areas only standing a chance of seeing a few centimetres of snow including low level / ground snow.
Towns of Sutherland, Ceres, Somerset West, Paarl, Wellington, Stellenbosch, Montagu, Franschhoek, Wolseley, Tulbagh, Worcester, De Doorns, Villiersdorp, Rawsonville, Robertson, Greyton all stand a chance of seeing snowfall including low-level ground snow.
